In our societies, animal welfare is getting more and more important. Using such a device is an advantage, thanks to air-cow cattle can stain physiological situation with real comfort the required time for re-education and healing.
Versatility
In bovine médecine, there are a lot of cases which for air-cow can become useful. The air-cow allows best optimizations of care:
Hypocalcemia around calving / milk fever / hypophatemia
These deficiencies generally prevent cows from rising or increase risks of falling. One of the interest of the air-cow is putting the cow in safety situation to receive the necessary veterinary care.
Then you can avoid complications caused by repeated falls as well as worsening injuries caused by unsuccessful lifting attempts and pain.
Air-cow allows to cancel numbness that is one of the most complicating element of the lying situation.
Sciatica syndrome / traumatically calving
Calving involves a lot of complications, one of the most frequent is the lack of space in the pelvis.

Sepsis

In veterinary practice we often meet such cases, cow lying with serious mastitis. Usually we succeed to cure mastitis but a few days later we euthanize the cow because it can no longer get up.
Bone fractures
Some fractures are unfortunately impossible to cure with plaster or splint.
Air-cow allows to place the animal in a physiological position for the necessary time for bone healing.

Welfare for transporting injured animals
Transport of injured animals, unable for lifting up and moving is usually a problem. Until now it was realized without any specific device.
The animal is pulled and lifted by means not proved for this kind of operation. It is often traumatic even if it is involuntary. Using the air-cow in these particular cases allows us to considerably decrease stress injuries caused by this kind of situation.
Air-cow was conceived for physiotherapy and re-education of heavy animals. The device is provided with lateral straps that allow the animal to be lifted the necessary time for healing.
